My name is Yuri Alvarez, founder of Yuye Photography. I was born and raised in Guatemala and came to the United States in 2010 carrying nothing but dreams, determination, and a passion for storytelling through photography.

​

For over a decade, photography has allowed me to capture love stories, milestones, and unforgettable memories while also helping me build the future I once only imagined. I am not only a photographer, but also a proud mother to a beautiful daughter whose presence inspires me to keep growing every day.

Behind the camera, I have also been pursuing another passion: the legal field. Through the support of my incredible clients and this business, I was able to complete my Bachelor’s degree and paralegal studies, and I am now preparing for law school with the goal of becoming an attorney and serving my community.

Every session I photograph carries gratitude, purpose, and heart. Yuye Photography has been more than a business, it has been the bridge that transformed my career goals into reality.
